THE SOUNDTRACKS
My books contain a lot of references to music and bands, as I am a lifelong musician and a huge fan of music, especially live music. One of the most enjoyable parts of my process is assembling a soundtrack for each novel as I am writing it. They each include 69 carefully curated tracks (Nice.) that are mentioned in or that inform characters, settings and scenes in the books. They range from sea shanties to metal to classic rock, disco, outlaw country, jazz, hardcore, and pretty much every other genre known to humankind.
